Most Disliked
While Gebby's Family Restaurant has garnered lots of praise, a few points of feedback haven’t gone unnoticed. Some diners mention occasional service delays, especially during peak hours when the restaurant is most crowded. There are times when just one server handles the whole establishment, which can leave diners feeling a bit neglected, particularly on busy weekend mornings.
Another common critique revolves around the need for updates within the space; specific mentions include the restaurant's flooring. Although this doesn’t detract much from the overall experience, it’s a detail noted by some returning guests. Additionally, despite mostly favorable reviews on food quality, a few patrons have reported minor inconsistencies in menu offerings, such as preparation variations in dishes like grits or omelettes. Despite these critiques, many still celebrate the restaurant as a beloved local institution.

This is my favorite place to go for breakfast. Their food is amazing and very well priced. They offer a lot of food, and I am always stuffed when I leave. The workers here are always so pleasant and friendly, and I’ve had so many really positive experiences. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for a delicious breakfast.

Food was basic diner, which is what I expected. Portions were nice. Service was a little low, only one server for the whole place on a weekend morning. Was pretty quiet, nice place. They do need to update their flooring. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Gabby’ is known for its all day breakfast and they did not disappoint. I had the cheese and mushroom omelette which was bursting with mushrooms and stuffed with melted cheddar cheese. I opted for the grits with brown sugar, and the grits were creamy with a firm texture. My mother had the senior burger, which she declared the perfect size and my brother had the gargantuan pork tenderloin, which was crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. Wonderful service, friendly staff, and lots of convenient parking. The price was very reasonable as for 4 people total, it was slightly less than $40.

Great service, food was great. Grits was little dry but thankful they carry grits at all. Eggs were very good. Not sure what they grease pan with but both fried and scrambled eggs were outstanding. Toast was crunchy. Bacon was very good, hash browns made perfectly 👌. Pricing is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.
